ATTENTION: 

The Scheels IcePlex will be closed for up to 8 weeks due to equipment repair, during this time all SFFSC programming is canceled until further notice. This includes Learn to Skate, Hockey Academy, Aspire, Freestyle Ice, Advanced Classes, and Theater on Ice. We are happy to host our 3rd annual Lock-In Event on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Register now, spots are limited and this is a fun start-of-the-season event your skater is not going to want to miss! 
 
Registration Deadline:  Wednesday, October 2, 2024

       Scheels IcePlex

When:

       Drop-off Time: 7:30 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2024

       Regular Pick-up Window: 8:00-8:30 AM on Sunday, ,October 13, 2024

       Early Pick-up Window: 10:30-11:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2024 

Who:

       SFFSC Home Club, Secondary, and Aspire Members

What:

       Enjoy a night locked in the Scheels IcePlex! Skaters will enjoy a night together at their favorite place with some of their favorite people!

       Activities will include: Late night skate, craft making, games, and movies!

       A ‘Snack Shack’ will be available for the skater to purchase snacks and goodies with cash.

       Coaches will be present for the entirety of the event.

       Sleeping arrangements will be adjusted based on the age of skaters to accommodate younger and older skaters.

       Early pick-up option for those that wish to attend but not sleep over.

There will be no other user groups in the facility after 8:00 PM, only SFFSC Lock-in Coaches, Skaters and skate safe parent volunteers  will be allowed.

 

What to Bring:

       Skates and clothes to skate in

       Blanket, Pillow, Sleeping Bag, Individual Air mattress/floatie (if desired)

       Pajamas and other overnight items

       Cell phones are welcome, but encourage your skater to use them scarcely as we have plenty of fun planned.

       Cash for the ‘Snack Shack’

Cost:

       $45 (to cover ice time and craft items only) 

IMPORTANT MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT INFORMATION

All skaters are considered members of the Sioux Falls Figure Skating Club, which requires a SFFSC Membership. Your membership must be current before we are able to welcome your skater onto the ice. 

If you do not have the required current membership, please visit our membership page to purchase or renew your membership at sffsc.com/membership where you can view all memberships we offer and the details/requirements for each membership. 

If you are not sure which membership(s) you should have please contact your private lesson coach or email members@sffsc.com with any questions regarding SFFSC memberships. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

SFFSC has the right to cancel any session, class, or event that does not reach the required skater minimums prior to the registration deadline. All deadlines are set a minimum of seven days prior to the day of the event. Any invoice created to enroll a skater in a program past the deadline to register will be subject to a $5 invoice fee. Should any session be canceled, you will be notified via email and refunded. Registration & Processing Fees are non-refundable.  Sioux Falls Figure Skating Club releases responsibility and liability of all participants at the conclusion of each event as specified in the event schedule.
